President of Civil Service Commission (CSC), Dr. Aly Shameem and Director of Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), Ms. Fathimath Habeeba participated in a discussion meeting held today at Maldives National University (MNU), aimed in general, to strengthen the mutual cooperation of the two institutions with regard to the areas in higher education, training, research and innovation. On behalf of MNU, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation Ms. Aishath Shaheen and Head of Training Ms. Asiya Ibrahim participated.
It was further highlighted in the meeting, that the two institutions would provide mutual assistance in the utilization of resources needed by the lecturers, trainers and students. Moreover, MNU extended to provide the expertise and support in the institutional development of CSTI along with technical assistance to further enhance the various different courses conducted for the professional development of the civil servants. Similarly, MNU agreed to develop the library facilities of CSTI with the help of different faculties of the university. In this regard, it was further discussed to sign a memorandum of understanding to formalize the suppositions of the meeting.
