President of Civil Service Commission, Dr. Aly Shameem meets with His Excellency Vice Admiral (Retd.) Waseem Akram today at the Embassy of Pakistan.
During the meeting, Dr. Aly Shameem noted the existing brotherly ties between Pakistan and Maldives. Both the parties discussed ways on enhancing cooperation between the Civil Service and Pakistan on a range of bilateral issues, placing special emphasis on the areas of short term capacity building training programmes and seminars to the civil servants of Maldives.
The Pakistani Embassy in Maldives will be funding equipment’s to the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI) to assist in enhancing its operational capabilities. The donation from the Pakistan Embassy includes desktop computers, laptops, air conditioners, projectors and other equipment’s needed for a student resource centre as well.
